Something weird

Something weird is going on.

First there was a tree in our house.

Then we went to a party.

We played with all sorts of stuff.
It was fun!
But then, . . . .


Who is that weird man?
Why do you want to give me to him?

I guess he can give me a present,

but only if he stays over there.

Nope, I still don't want to sit with him,

not even with mommy.

And this guy is going to break into our house!

I'm glad mommy and daddy got that security system!

There's a tree in our house!

What is it doing here?

It has lights!

It has stuff hanging on it!

It is beautiful!

Bath

I love taking baths!

That's why my first (unprompted) word was "bath".

I said it on Sunday.

I ran down the hall yelling,

"I want to take a bath!"

Note from mommy:

She did not say a full sentence.

She said "ba(th)".

(over and over again.)

That's good enough for me!

Thankful

I am thankful for my family.

For a mommy that gets up with me at night.

And a daddy that gives me baths.

My papa who fed me cheerios.
And bubby and sissy, who play with me.

And nana and grandpa, who read to me.

I have a wonderful family!

Animals

We went to a fall festival, with animals.

The cat scared me and I didn't want to pet it.

The goats terrified me and I screamed and screamed.

The turkey was OK, if a little strange.

But, I really liked the horse.

Nothin' scary about a giant horse.

I went to the Doctor the other day.

I weigh 19 lbs and

I'm 28 1/2 inches tall.

The doctor said I'm not going to even be as tall as mommy.

What do they know!

I've been busy playing with my toys.

This is the coolest toy ever.

It is so much fun when someone chases you with it!

Nana and Grandpa got me a toy box!

Most of my toys are in it!

It is so pretty.

And it's soft too.

I like getting my toys out of it.

And I (almost) always put them away too!

Busy little bee

I have been very busy this past week.

I'm a big girl now, and I have big girl things that need to get done!

Get out of my way, everyone,
I have places to go!

I need to read with Nana!

And I need to play with Grandpa!

They left on Sat. and I miss them!

(so does mommy)
