Me time

Sometimes a girl just gets a little stressed out.

Then, she needs some "me" time.

When that happens to me, I crawl under my chair.

No one can see me under my chair.

I can just relax!

Hey, how did you see me?

Now I have to find a new place to hide!

Merry (late) Christmas

Sorry I haven't updated.

I gave mama my cold,

and she won't let me update,

even though I know how!

Christmas Eve, we hung up our stockings.

Mommy assured me that Santa would stay downstairs,

but only if I slept really good.

So, I slept until 4:30am!

(I went back to sleep until 7:15am.)

I had lots of presents to open!

It was so much fun to rip the paper!

Look at all my loot!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas!

Wrap me up!

In addition to the pretty tree,

we've been getting lots of packages in the mail.

Some of them have loud, crinkly paper in them.

It's so fun to play with!

Daddy's wrapping me up like a burrito!

But I got out!

Right now,

I am sick.

I have croup.

I'm coughing very loudly.

I don't like it very much!

busy, busy, busy

I've been really, really busy.

I have a ton of people to e-mail.

Don't bother me right now!

And, I've figured out how to eat a banana!

Banana

I love bananas!

They are so yummy!

But I noticed that I don't get to eat all of the banana.

This is one weird food wrapper!

It feels funny.

It tastes funny too!

You can have this part mommy!

Something weird

Something weird is going on.

First there was a tree in our house.

Then we went to a party.

We played with all sorts of stuff.
It was fun!
But then, . . . .


Who is that weird man?
Why do you want to give me to him?

I guess he can give me a present,

but only if he stays over there.

Nope, I still don't want to sit with him,

not even with mommy.

And this guy is going to break into our house!

I'm glad mommy and daddy got that security system!

There's a tree in our house!

What is it doing here?

It has lights!

It has stuff hanging on it!

It is beautiful!

Bath

I love taking baths!

That's why my first (unprompted) word was "bath".

I said it on Sunday.

I ran down the hall yelling,

"I want to take a bath!"

Note from mommy:

She did not say a full sentence.

She said "ba(th)".

(over and over again.)

That's good enough for me!
