Rockaby baby

Me, on Dec. 18th
Last night I did something unexpected. I fell asleep. Without screaming for an hour, or a half hour, or even 15 minutes. Mommy put me down and it took me a while to fall asleep, but I didn't cry. It was nice. I did this last week too. Except last week, she put me down and I fell asleep immediately. So twice in two weeks. Mommy is very excited and hoping this trend will continue. Mommy seems so much happier when I do this and I guess I feel better when I do it too.
Last night, though, mommy put a 0 to 3 month long sleeve onesie on me, only it turned out to be 3/4 sleeve because my arms have gotten longer. I think mommy started to cry. I tried to tell her that I'm almost 3 months old, so I should be getting bigger, and she's the one that feeds me! But I had to tell her that I would be her little girl forever, no matter how big I get. That made her a little happier, but she still seemed a little sad that I'm growing so fast.

The rest of the family

This is my daddy. He's a good daddy.
Look how tiny I am!

This is my mommy. She loses a lot of sleep because of me!
But she still loves me.

This is my bubby and sissy.

I have a mommy, daddy, bubby and sissy. Bubby and sissy live with their mommy in North Carolina, so I don't get to see them as much as I would like. They like to play with me and make me smile. Sissy will hold me even when I am crying, but bubby always tries to make me laugh. I have a great family! I have a lot more family too, but they live far away. I visited a lot of them for Christmas, and maybe I'll post their pictures later.

Introducing the Navy Bean

This is me, at one day old.
I am a little navy bean. My daddy is in the navy so when mommy found out they were going to have a baby, they named me Navy Bean. I was born in Nov. 2008. My mommy and daddy were very surprised that I had a lot of dark brown hair, but not surprised that my eyes are a beautiful dark blue. For the most part, mommy says I am a good baby. I enjoy swinging, playing on my play mat, taking baths, taking walks, and talking (and telling jokes, but mommy is a little slow and never laughs until I do). I am growing up fast and mommy wants to remember everything. She thought a blog would help, and then all my family could watch me grow up too!
