Playtime

So it's summer time!

Mama says I look cute in this little dress.

We went to the Botanical Gardens.
This frog spits out water and mommy let me splash in it!


Can you believe she took a picture of me wearing a bowl!!!
No wonder I've been cranky!

Fat rolls for all

Mama decided it was time to take some more naked butt pictures.

It's hard work being so cute!

This was my 3 month old picture.

Look, now I can push myself all the way up!

And even mama says that my legs are no longer "sturdy."

She's says they're just plain out fat now!

Got teeth?

Last week my Papa visited us.

Now I'm sad cuz' it's just me and mommy.

I really liked playing with Papa.

Mommy liked that he was here because I was teething.

Mom gave me this stuff called Melba toast.
Very strange.

My two bottom teeth came in yesterday.

6 months

Today I am six months old.

I keep getting bigger and bigger.

Daddy is in big trouble too.

Look what he showed me!

I can't pull myself up, but I scream if mommy doesn't let me do this.

I know how to give kisses now.
But they're hard to get pictures of,
so here's a picture of sissy giving me a kiss.


I continue to eat well.
I eat oatmeal, rice cereal, sweet potatoes, bananas, avocado and acorn squash.
Mommy says I'm starting to look like the Michelin man.

I am a budding musician.
I love it when mommy or daddy plays the piano.
I was even more excited when I discovered that
I could make the piano make noise too.
My favorite CD is The Planets, by Gustav Holt.
My favorite planet is Jupiter.

Mostly I just play a lot and make everyone laugh.

Gender issues

To the fifty people who stopped me at the grocery store yesterday,

to tell me how cute I was,

thank you!

But I would like to point out,

I AM A GIRL!!!!

I am wearing a PINK bib!

I am NOT a boy!

Really, how hard is that?

Mommy says I should also point out that I am teething.

She says she is thrilled about this.

Oh, wait, mommy says she was being sarcastic.

Like I know what sarcasm is:

I AM A BABY!

I'm going to go chew on something now.

The great outdoors

Saturday we went to the First Landing State Park

This is the Bald Cypress trail.

I wasn't that interested in the big tree.
We did see a toad though, and that was pretty cool.

All that hiking made me tired.

Time for a nap!
